What do we do with your waste?

H. Hafner and Sons, Inc. is a leader in the recycling of construction and demolition debris.  Nearly 70% of all waste that enters the gate is diverted from local landfills.  Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are sold to local scrapyards.  All concrete, asphalt, brick and block is crushed and sold as recycled aggregate.  Wood, brush and yard waste is composted and lumber is sold as used dimensional lumber or composted.  Expanding markets include plastic and vinyl recycling, shingle grinding for asphalt production and drywall grinding for use as a soil ammendment.
